That being said, this franchise has been a big pillar in my childhood and there’s countless moments that I’ll remember fondly. I’ll still watch the occasional video every now and then, either for memes or for nostalgia’s sake, and I’ll check out Security Breach when/if it comes out, but overall I’ll leave FNaF on the wayside of my brain. I haven’t been actively checking out updates, news and such since Scott’s retirement, I needed to regain my emotional wellness after experiencing the whole fiasco. Two months passed, and with enough retrospective, I’ve decided to tell you what I did in this time frame. Three days later, Scott Cawthon announced his retirement, and I felt nothing because I was so emotionally drained at that point from all the news and the division of the fans/former fans. On June 13th, I posted some personal thoughts about the situation of FNaF at that time, and in that post I expressed heartbreak, uncertainty, and disappointment.
